Printfil

Even though the DOS environment is extremely old, there are users who still use DOS applications. An explanation for this is that there isn't probably a Windows version of the program, but only a DOS one. Either way, printing from these software using a standard Windows printer seems something impossible. But thanks to the Printfil application, this task can now be possible to perform. Printfil emulates a real Windows printer as a DOS one, allowing virtually any DOS application to recognize it and print accordingly.

The software can be used without problems on almost any version of the Windows operating system and requires just a few clicks to install. When run for the first time, Printfil will guide the user through a configuration wizard. Every step of the wizard is highly intuitive and can be completed by anyone without problems. After having configured the software, one just needs to use his DOS software as usual and when it's time to print something, he only needs to select the emulated Windows printer from the list.

The software is compatible with most Windows printers, no matter if they are connected to an old LPT port or USB. Virtually any printer or DOS application can be used together with Printfil.
